आरुह्य राम-कृष्णाभ्यां
स्वं रथं गन्दिनी-सुतः
प्रयाणम् अकरोद् राजन्
मथुरां द्रष्टुम् उद्यतः
āruhya rāma-kṛṣṇābhyāṃ
svaṃ rathaṃ gandinī-sutaḥ
prayāṇam akarod rājan
mathurāṃ draṣṭum udyataḥ
āruhya—climbing; rāma-kṛṣṇābhyām—with Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; svam—own; ratham—chariot; gandinī-sutaḥ—Akrūra; prayāṇam—the journey; akarot—did; rājan—O king; mathurām—to Mathurā; draṣṭum—to see; udyataḥ—prepared.
English translation of verse 5.4.28:
O king, Akrūra climbed on his chariot and with Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma went to see Mathurā.
