कोटिसः कोटिशो गोप्यो
मार्गे मार्गे समास्थिताः
पश्यन्त्यस् तन्-निर्गमनं
क्रोधाढ्या मोह-विह्वलाः

koṭisaḥ koṭiśo gopyo
mārge mārge samāsthitāḥ
paśyantyas tan-nirgamanaṃ
krodhāḍhyā moha-vihvalāḥ

koṭisaḥ koṭiśaḥmillions and millions; gopyaḥof gopīs; mārge—on path; mārge—after path; samāsthitāḥ—stood; paśyantyaḥ—gazing; tan-nirgamanam—at the departure; krodhāḍhyā—filled with anger; moha-vihvalāḥ—overcome with bewilderment.

English translation of verse 5.4.29:

Angry and bewildered, millions and millions of gopīss stood on every path, staring at the Lord's departure.
