श्री-नन्द उवाच
गर्गस्य वाक्यं हे गोपा
वदिष्यामि समाहितः
येन गोप-गणा यूयं
भवताशु गत-व्यथाः

śrī-nanda uvāca
gargasya vākyaṃ he gopā
vadiṣyāmi samāhitaḥ
yena gopa-gaṇā yūyaṃ
bhavatāśu gata-vyathāḥ

śrī-nanda uvāca—Śrī Nanda said; gargasya—of Garga Muni; vākyam—the words; he—O; gopāgopas; vadiṣyāmi—I will speak; samāhitaḥ—attentive; yena—by which; gopa-gaṇāO gopas; yūyam—you; bhavata—will be; āśu—at once; gata-vyathāḥ—free of distress.

English translation of verse 3.5.9:

Śrī Nanda said: O gopas, I will carefully tell you what Garga Muni said. O gopas, by his words you wil be quickly free of your anxiety. Garga Muni said to me:
