मुनीन्द्रः सर्व-वित् साक्षाद्
गर्गाचार्यः समागतः
रङ्गेषु वन्दितस् ताभ्यां
कंसं प्राहोर्जया गिरा
munīndraḥ sarva-vit sākṣād
gargācāryaḥ samāgataḥ
raṅgeṣu vanditas tābhyāṃ
kaṃsaṃ prāhorjayā girā
munīndraḥ—the king of sages; sarva-vit—all-knowing; sākṣāt—directly; gargācāryaḥ—Garga MUni; samāgataḥ—came; raṅgeṣu—to the fighting-ground; vanditaḥ—offered obeisances; tābhyām—by them both; kaṃsam—to Kaṃsa; prāha—spoke; urjayā—with strong; girā—words.
English translation of verse 2.23.21:
Then Garga Acārya, the all-knowing king of sages, came to the fighting-ground.
The two fighters both offered respectful obeisances to him. With strong words he spoke to Kaṃsa.
