अयि त्वद्-आत्माति-परं प्रियो मे
त्वद्-आकृतिः श्री-व्रज-राज-नन्दनः
येनैव मे देवि हृतं तु चेतस्
त्वया ननान्देव वधूर् दधामि तम्
ayi tvad-ātmāti-paraṃ priyo me
tvad-ākṛtiḥ śrī-vraja-rāja-nandanaḥ
yenaiva me devi hṛtaṃ tu cetas
tvayā nanāndeva vadhūr dadhāmi tam
ayi—O; tvat—You; ātma-ati-param—greater than My own self; priyaḥ—dear; me—to Me; tvad-ākṛtiḥ—Your form; śrī-vraja-rāja-nandanaḥ—the son of Vraja's king; yena—by which; eva—indeed; me—of Me; devi—O goddess; hṛtam—enchanted; tu—indeed; cetaḥ—heart; tvayā—by You; nanānda—delighted; iva—like; vadhūḥ—a woman; dadhāmi—I place; tam—that.
English translation of verse 2.17.29:
You are more dear to Me than My own self. Your form is like that of Vraja's prince, who has captured My heart. I am happy as if I were with Him.
