काश्मीर-पङ्क-सम्युक्ते
सूक्ष्म-वस्त्र-विराजिते
शिरीष-पुष्प-क्षितिज-
दलैर् आ-गुल्फ-पूरके
मालती-मकरन्दानां
क्षरद्भिर् बिन्दुभिर् वृते

kāśmīra-paṅka-samyukte
sūkṣma-vastra-virājite
śirīṣa-puṣpa-kṣitija-
dalair ā-gulpha-pūrake
mālatī-makarandānāṃ
kṣaradbhir bindubhir vṛte

English translation of verse 2.17.20:

. . . which was anointed with kuṅkuma paste, splendid with fine curtains, and filled up to Her ankles with śirīṣa petals anointed with drops of mālatī honey.
