The Garga-samhita Verse 2.5.29, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 5 (The Liberation of Bakasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
को ऽयं दैत्यः पूर्व-कले
कस्मात् केन बको ऽभवत्
पूर्ण-ब्रह्मणि सर्वेशे
श्री-कृष्णे लीनतां गतः

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
ko 'yaṃ daityaḥ pūrva-kale
kasmāt kena bako 'bhavat
pūrṇa-brahmaṇi sarveśe
śrī-kṛṣṇe līnatāṃ gataḥ

śrī-bahulāśvaḥ uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said: kaḥ—who?; ayamthis; daityaḥdemon; pūrva-kalein the previous time; kasmāt—why?; kenaby whom?; bakaḥ—a duck; abhavat—became; pūrṇa-brahmaṇi—in the Supreme Brahman; sarveśe—the master of all; śrī-kṛṣṇe—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; līnatām—merging; gataḥ—attained.

English translation of verse 2.5.29:

Śrī Bahulāśva said: Who was this demon before? Why did he become a duck?

Why was he able to enter Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the master of all?
