The Garga-samhita Verse 1.17.27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-नारद उवाच
श्रुत्वा वाक्यं तदा गोपी
प्रसन्ना गृहम् आगता
एकदा दधि-चौर्यार्थं
कृष्णस् तस्या गृहं गतः

śrī-nārada uvāca
śrutvā vākyaṃ tadā gopī
prasannā gṛham āgatā
ekadā dadhi-cauryārthaṃ
kṛṣṇas tasyā gṛhaṃ gataḥ

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; śrutvāhearing; vākyam—these words; tadāthen; gopīthe gopī; prasannāhappy; gṛham—home; āgatā—came; ekadāone day; dadhiof yogurt; cauryatheft; arthamfor the purpose; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; tasyā—of her; gṛham—to the home; gataḥ—went.

English translation of verse 1.17.27:

Śrī Nārada said: Hearing these words, the gopī became happy and went home.

Then one day Kṛṣṇa went to her home to steal yogurt.
