The Garga-samhita Verse 1.17.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 17 (Description of the Yogurt Theft) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

नवनीत-मुखं चैनम्
अत्र त्वं ह्य् आनयिष्यसि
तदा शिक्षां करिष्यामि
भर्त्सनं बन्धनं तथा

navanīta-mukhaṃ cainam
atra tvaṃ hy ānayiṣyasi
tadā śikṣāṃ kariṣyāmi
bhartsanaṃ bandhanaṃ tathā

navanīta-mukham—butter on His mouth; ca—also; enam—Him; atra—here; tvam—you; hi—indeed; ānayiṣyasi—will bring; tadāthen; śikṣām—a lesson; kariṣyāmi—I will do; bhartsanam—rebuke; bandhanam—tying up; tathā—then.

English translation of verse 1.17.26:

You bring that boy here with butter in His mouth and I will give Him a lesson. I will scold Him and tie Him up.
