श्री-नारद उवाच
इत्य् उक्त्वाथ गते गर्गे
स्वात्मानं पूर्णम् आशिषम्
मेने प्रमुदितः पत्न्या
नन्द-राजो महा-मतिः
śrī-nārada uvāca
ity uktvātha gate garge
svātmānaṃ pūrṇam āśiṣam
mene pramuditaḥ patnyā
nanda-rājo mahā-matiḥ
śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; iti—thus; uktvā—saying; atha—then; gate—gone; garge—Garga; svātmānam—own; pūrṇam—perfect; āśiṣam—benediction; mene—considered; pramuditaḥ—joyful; patnyā—with his wife; nanda-rājaḥ—King Nanda; mahā-matiḥ—great hearted.
English translation of verse 1.15.39:
Śrī Nārada said: Garga Muni said this and left. Then noble-hearted King Nanda, along with his wife, thought about the great blessing they had received.
