अहो भाग्यं तु ते नेदं
साक्षाच् छ्रि-पुरुषोत्तमः
त्वद्-गृहे वर्तमानो ऽयं
aho bhāgyaṃ tu te nedaṃ
sākṣāc chri-puruṣottamaḥ
tvad-gṛhe vartamāno 'yaṃ
शिउ-रूपः परात् परः
śiu-rūpaḥ parāt paraḥ
ahaḥ—ah; bhāgyam—good fortune; tu—certainly; te—of you; na—not; idam—this; sākṣāt—directly; śri-puruṣottamaḥ—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; tvat—of you; gṛhe—in the home; vartamānaḥ—being; ayam—He; śiu—of a child; rūpaḥ—in the form; parāt paraḥ—greater than the greatest.
English translation of verse 1.15.38:
Ah, how fortunate you are! Appearing as a small child, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is greater than the greatest, now stays in your home.
