The Garga-samhita Verse 1.10.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 10 (Description of the Birth of Lord Balarama) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

नन्दाद्या वसवह् सर्वे
वृषभान्व्-आदयह् सुराह्
गोप्यो वेद-ऋचाद्याश् च
सन्ति भूमौ नृपेश्वर

nandādyā vasavah sarve
vṛṣabhānv-ādayah surāh
gopyo veda-ṛcādyāś ca
santi bhūmau nṛpeśvara

nandaby Nanda; ādyāh—headed; vasavah—the Vasus; sarve—all; vṛṣabhānu by Vṛṣabhānu; ādayah—headed; surāh—the suras; gopyah—the gopīs; veda-ṛcā—by the Vedic hymns; ādyāh—headed; ca—also; santiare; bhūmau—on the earth; nṛpa-īśvaraO king of kings.

English translation of verse 1.10.8:

"O king of kings, all the Vasus have become the people that have Nanda as their leader. The suras have become the people that have Vṛṣabhānu as their leader. A group that has the Vedic hymns as its leader has become gopīs. They are all now on the earth.
