The Sanskrit text of the Dhanurveda-samhita attributed to Vasishtha. Dhanur Veda is a type of ancient India science whose roots date to the 2nd millenium BCE. It is counted among the Upavedas literature. This specific version of the Dhanurveda contains roughly 240 sections of Sanskrit text.

वामनाड्युपदये चन्द्रः कर्त्तव्यो वामसन्मुखः ।
सूर्य्यचारे तथा सूर्य्यः पृष्ठे दक्षिणगो जयेत् ॥ ३० ॥

vāmanāḍyupadaye candraḥ karttavyo vāmasanmukhaḥ |
sūryyacāre tathā sūryyaḥ pṛṣṭhe dakṣiṇago jayet || 30 ||

At the time of the left vein, the moon should be placed facing left. Similarly, when the sun moves on the southern side, the sun should conquer the southern side.
