1. Brahmin; பார்ப்பனன். நான்மறை வேதியர்தேத்து [parppanan. nanmarai vethiyarthethu] (திருவாலவாயுடையார் திருவிளையாடற் [thiruvalavayudaiyar thiruvilaiyadar] 40, 2).
2. Brahmā; பிரமன். வேதி யன் முதலா வமரரும் [piraman. vethi yan muthala vamararum] (கல்லாடம் [kalladam] 25, 13).
