This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 12.58

तं तत्र वादिसिंहं ऋषभं सो भोजनेन सप्ताहं ।
तर्पयति भूमिपालो प्रसन्नचित्तो प्रणीतेन ॥ ५८ ॥

taṃ tatra vādisiṃhaṃ ṛṣabhaṃ so bhojanena saptāhaṃ |
tarpayati bhūmipālo prasannacitto praṇītena || 58 ||

There for seven days the protector of the earth, with devotion in his heart, regaled the lion-voiced valiant man with abundant food. (58)
