The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.187.41

स्वतैकभावनामात्रसारसंसरणोन्मुखी ।
तदा विनाभावकृता अनुतिष्ठन्ति तामिमाः ॥ ४१ ॥

svataikabhāvanāmātrasārasaṃsaraṇonmukhī |
tadā vinābhāvakṛtā anutiṣṭhanti tāmimāḥ || 41 ||

It is then employed in the thoughts, of its bodily conduct and worldly carrier only; and being forgetful of its spiritual nature, is engaged in the discharge of his temporal functions.
