The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नीतवन्तौ निशामावां कदलीकानने घने ।
तुषारशिशिरे श्रान्तौ कदलीदलतल्पके ॥ ७ ॥

nītavantau niśāmāvāṃ kadalīkānane ghane |
tuṣāraśiśire śrāntau kadalīdalatalpake || 7 ||

We passed our nights under the arbours of thick plantain forests; and being weary with walking over snow and dew, we laid ourselves on beds made of plantain leaves.
