The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिन्मात्रात्मनि विश्रान्तं यस्य चित्तमचञ्चलम् ।
तत्रैव रतिमायातं स जीवन्मुक्त उच्यते ॥ ३ ॥

cinmātrātmani viśrāntaṃ yasya cittamacañcalam |
tatraiva ratimāyātaṃ sa jīvanmukta ucyate || 3 ||

That is called the liberated soul, which reclines in its intellectuality, and has its mind ever fixed in it; which delights in intellectual culture, and has repose therein.
