The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिद्व्योमैवाभेदबुद्धिश्चिद्व्योमैव च भेदधीः ।
द्वैताद्वैते चैकमेव तथा शान्तमखण्डितम् ॥ ४२ ॥

cidvyomaivābhedabuddhiścidvyomaiva ca bhedadhīḥ |
dvaitādvaite caikameva tathā śāntamakhaṇḍitam || 42 ||

Our knowledge of identity and diversity, proceed however from the same vacuous intellect; which combines the unity and duality also, in unbroken union or harmony in itself.
