The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.155.46

इति संचिन्त्य तं देहं धारणां प्राणरेचनीम् ।
कृत्वा त्यक्ष्यसि संभुक्तात्फलाच्छुष्कं यथा खगः ॥ ४६ ॥

iti saṃcintya taṃ dehaṃ dhāraṇāṃ prāṇarecanīm |
kṛtvā tyakṣyasi saṃbhuktātphalācchuṣkaṃ yathā khagaḥ || 46 ||

Thinking so in yourself, you will shrivel your bloated body, by exhaling your breath (as you had expanded it by your inhalation of it), and then shun your frame as a bird cast off the outer crust of a fruit after suction of its juicy sap.
