The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.134.31

अत्यन्तान्तर्हिताशेषसमस्ताचलमण्डलम् ।
रक्तप्रभाभ्रसंभारवस्त्रावृतदिगङ्गनम् ॥ ३१ ॥

atyantāntarhitāśeṣasamastācalamaṇḍalam |
raktaprabhābhrasaṃbhāravastrāvṛtadigaṅganam || 31 ||

All the mountains on earth, were covered with blood, which reflected their redness to the cloud on high; which gave the appearance of a red mantling veil, spreading over the faces of the female regent deities of all sides of heaven.
