The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उन्नालनलिनीनालकदलीस्तम्भसंकुले ।
वने विहरतां लक्ष्मीं हंसानामेति कः खगः ॥ ३८ ॥

unnālanalinīnālakadalīstambhasaṃkule |
vane viharatāṃ lakṣmīṃ haṃsānāmeti kaḥ khagaḥ || 38 ||

The elevated stalks of lotuses, rising as the lofty stems of plantain trees, with the lotuses sitting as the goddess Flora upon them, afford delight to swans only, and to no other bird.
