The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.103.29

महामोहमयी माया मिथ्यैवाहमिति स्थिता ।
शास्त्रार्थभावनेनाशु मुच्यतां परशोच्यता ॥ २९ ॥

mahāmohamayī māyā mithyaivāhamiti sthitā |
śāstrārthabhāvanenāśu mucyatāṃ paraśocyatā || 29 ||

It is the dark illusion of gross ignorance, that hath misled thee to the sense of thy egoism; and it is now by your reflection on the purport of the sastras only, that you can be freed from your deplorable state.
