The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.81.89

जगत्संक्षुब्धमक्षुब्धं दृश्यते स्थितिसंस्थिति ।
संचाल्यमानमुकुरप्रतिबिम्ब इवास्थितम् ॥ ८९ ॥

jagatsaṃkṣubdhamakṣubdhaṃ dṛśyate sthitisaṃsthiti |
saṃcālyamānamukurapratibimba ivāsthitam || 89 ||

Whether the world is quiescent in the intellect, or a passing phenomenon of outward vision; it appears both as stable as well as moving, like the reflection of objects in a standing or shaking mirror.
