The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नृत्यस्फुरत्प्रतापान्तर्जगदर्थाः प्रतिक्षणम् ।
स्थितिं त्यजन्ति गृह्णन्ति बालसंकल्पसर्गवत् ॥ ९० ॥

nṛtyasphuratpratāpāntarjagadarthāḥ pratikṣaṇam |
sthitiṃ tyajanti gṛhṇanti bālasaṃkalpasargavat || 90 ||

All worldly objects are as fluctuating, as the changing shows in a magic play; they forsake their forms and assume others as quickly, as the fickle desires of whimsical boys are ever shifting from one object to another.
