The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जगदासीत्पतच्छृङ्गस्थूलधारौधनिर्भरम् ।
वहद्वहद्गिरिपुरवातपूर्णसरिच्छतम् ॥ ३६ ॥

jagadāsītpatacchṛṅgasthūladhāraudhanirbharam |
vahadvahadgiripuravātapūrṇasaricchatam || 36 ||

The world was full of water, falling in profuse showers from the mountain peaks; and hundreds of streams flowed down by the sides of mountains, and were borne all about by the breeze.
