The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उच्छलद्दीर्घरुत्कारैश्छमच्छममयात्मकैः ।
तूर्यमुन्नमदासारविसारिजयघोषणम् ॥ ४ ॥

ucchaladdīrgharutkāraiśchamacchamamayātmakaiḥ |
tūryamunnamadāsāravisārijayaghoṣaṇam || 4 ||

The swelling sound of the hissing showers rose as high, as [if] they were blowing aloud the whistle of their victory.
