The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अशङ्कितस्थलीमध्यसंजातागाधकूपका ।
वर्णसंकरनारीणामासक्तजनभूमिपा ॥ १५ ॥

aśaṅkitasthalīmadhyasaṃjātāgādhakūpakā |
varṇasaṃkaranārīṇāmāsaktajanabhūmipā || 15 ||

The land burst into deep ditches, where there was no water course before; and the peoples and rulers of men, indulged themselves in promiscuous marriages.
