The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अद्याप्यात्मैकदोषेण न हि मोक्षं लभावहे ।
चिरं तत्रैव तिष्ठावस्तथैवाबद्धभावनौ ॥ ३९ ॥

adyāpyātmaikadoṣeṇa na hi mokṣaṃ labhāvahe |
ciraṃ tatraiva tiṣṭhāvastathaivābaddhabhāvanau || 39 ||

It is owing to our own fault, that we do not obtain our release even at the present time; but continue to remain there in the state of prisoners as ever and forever.
