The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनन्यमात्मनो ब्रह्म सर्वं भामात्ररूपकम् ।
प्रकाशनमिवालोकः करोति न करोति च ॥ ३५ ॥

ananyamātmano brahma sarvaṃ bhāmātrarūpakam |
prakāśanamivālokaḥ karoti na karoti ca || 35 ||

Brahma is no other than himself, and all else is only his reflection; His light is the light of the world, and shows us all things like the solar light.
