The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.59.48

मृगतृष्णाम्बुभरवद्द्विचन्द्रव्योमवर्णवत् ।
संपन्नानि न सत्यानि सत्यान्यप्यनुभूतितः ॥ ४८ ॥

mṛgatṛṣṇāmbubharavaddvicandravyomavarṇavat |
saṃpannāni na satyāni satyānyapyanubhūtitaḥ || 48 ||

Like the appearance of water in the mirage, and the sight of two moons in the sky; do these unreal phenomena present themselves to our view, although they are altogether false.
