The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्यान्यज्ञातकालानि यदृच्छावशतः स्वयम् ।
जायमानानि पुष्टानि सुस्थिराणि स्थितानि च ॥ ४४ ॥

anyānyajñātakālāni yadṛcchāvaśataḥ svayam |
jāyamānāni puṣṭāni susthirāṇi sthitāni ca || 44 ||

Some have no determinate time (for want of the sun and moon), to regulate its course; and others are spontaneous in their growth and continuance.
