The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.56.26

क्वचिद्दैत्यपुरोड्डीनसगन्धर्वपुरं क्वचित् ।
क्वचिद्भ्रमद्ग्रहगणं तारकाकुलितं क्वचित् ॥ २६ ॥

kvaciddaityapuroḍḍīnasagandharvapuraṃ kvacit |
kvacidbhramadgrahagaṇaṃ tārakākulitaṃ kvacit || 26 ||

There was the city of the Daityas or demons, hanging in the air on one side; and the place of the Gandarvas appearing in another. The planetary sphere was rolling about in one way, and the starry frame revolving at a distance.
