The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बोधस्यान्तरिदं विश्वं स्थितमेव रघूद्वह ।
स्तम्भस्यान्तर्यथा शालभञ्जिका प्रकटीकृता ॥ ९ ॥

bodhasyāntaridaṃ viśvaṃ sthitameva raghūdvaha |
stambhasyāntaryathā śālabhañjikā prakaṭīkṛtā || 9 ||

It is in this faculty of the understanding, O thou support of Raghu's race, that this universe is situated, just as the images are carved in a stone.
