अब्धिद्यूर्वीनदीशैलशोभाशून्यतरात्मनि ।
जृम्भते द्रष्टृकरणं मृगतृष्णाम्बुवीचिवत् ॥ ५५ ॥

abdhidyūrvīnadīśailaśobhāśūnyatarātmani |
jṛmbhate draṣṭṛkaraṇaṃ mṛgatṛṣṇāmbuvīcivat || 55 ||

When the sharp knife of keen desire pierces the heart, it produces the sorely painful sores of sorrow and grief, which defy the remedies of mantras, minerals and all sorts of medicament.
