The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.10.16

अस्वत्वाभावयोर्नित्येऽनन्तेऽत्यन्तमसंभवात् ।
स्वत्वभावेषु सिद्धेषु स्वभावोक्तिर्न तिष्ठति ॥ १६ ॥

asvatvābhāvayornitye'nante'tyantamasaṃbhavāt |
svatvabhāveṣu siddheṣu svabhāvoktirna tiṣṭhati || 16 ||

Inexistence and non-entity being altogether impossible, of the everlasting and self-existent being; who is always existent in his own essence, any word descriptive of his nature, is but a misrepresentation of his true nature and quality.
