The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शिखिध्वज उवाच ।
स वृक्षोटजवीरुत्काद्वासना स्वाश्रमादपि ।
परित्यक्ता मया नूनं सर्वत्यागः स्थितो मम ॥ १६ ॥

śikhidhvaja uvāca |
sa vṛkṣoṭajavīrutkādvāsanā svāśramādapi |
parityaktā mayā nūnaṃ sarvatyāgaḥ sthito mama || 16 ||

Sikhidvaja said:—Know me sir, to have now taken away my heart from this hermitage, and forsaken my attachment to all its sacred bowers and arbours; now therefore consider me to have resigned my all and every thing in world.
