The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.21.17

प्रतपन्ति यदादित्याः शकलीकृतभूधराः ।
वारुणीं धारणां बद्ध्वा तदा तिष्ठामि धीरधीः ॥ १७ ॥

pratapanti yadādityāḥ śakalīkṛtabhūdharāḥ |
vāruṇīṃ dhāraṇāṃ baddhvā tadā tiṣṭhāmi dhīradhīḥ || 17 ||

When the zodiacal suns shine in their full vigour, and melt down the mountains by there intense heat, I then remain with my understanding;under the influence of Varuna's mantra or power.
