The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दृक्पातदग्धशैलेन्द्रं जगत्कवललालसम् ।
भैरवाचरितं यस्य लीलासंत्रासितासुरम् ॥ ११ ॥

dṛkpātadagdhaśailendraṃ jagatkavalalālasam |
bhairavācaritaṃ yasya līlāsaṃtrāsitāsuram || 11 ||

Their bodies are soft and shining as gold, and moving about with sparkling gem on their heads and bracelets of snakes curled round their wrists.
