The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असम्यग्दर्शनं यस्मादनात्मन्यात्मभावनम् ।
यदवस्तुनि वस्तुत्वं तच्चित्तं विद्धि राघव ॥ ३४ ॥

asamyagdarśanaṃ yasmādanātmanyātmabhāvanam |
yadavastuni vastutvaṃ taccittaṃ viddhi rāghava || 34 ||

Such is the nature of the mind, that it leads to the imperfect knowledge of things, so as to view the unreal as real, and the unspiritual as spiritual.
