The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

याक्षी च मायामयता नाभसी निष्कलङ्कता ।
शीततापि च तौषारी नैदाघी तापतप्तता ॥ ८८ ॥

yākṣī ca māyāmayatā nābhasī niṣkalaṅkatā |
śītatāpi ca tauṣārī naidāghī tāpataptatā || 88 ||

The Yakshas are full of their delusiveness, and the celestials are familiar with cold and frost, and those of the torrid zone are inured in its heat.
