The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.32.19

तस्मिंस्तद्भूमिपामात्यो नरसिंह इति श्रुतः ।
करामलकवद्दृष्टबन्धमोक्षो निवत्स्यति ॥ १९ ॥

tasmiṃstadbhūmipāmātyo narasiṃha iti śrutaḥ |
karāmalakavaddṛṣṭabandhamokṣo nivatsyati || 19 ||

There the minister of the king known as Narasinha by name, took his residence. He understood the fates of human kind, as the astronomer knows the stars of heaven on a small celestial globe, which he holds in his hand.
