The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उप्ता दुष्कृतबीजानां मुष्टयो मोहवृष्टयः ।
वागुराभिर्मया विन्ध्यकन्दरस्थेन निर्दयम् ॥ ४१ ॥

uptā duṣkṛtabījānāṃ muṣṭayo mohavṛṣṭayaḥ |
vāgurābhirmayā vindhyakandarasthena nirdayam || 41 ||

I have sown the seeds of sin under the rain-water of my ignorance, to grow speedily as thorns on my way. I have laid hidden snares for the unwary innocent, to secure myself in the mountain caves.
