The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.70.20

सूचीभावं प्रपन्नायास्त्यजन्त्याः पीवरं वपुः ।
महामरणमप्यस्या राक्षस्याः सुसुखं स्थितम् ॥ २० ॥

sūcībhāvaṃ prapannāyāstyajantyāḥ pīvaraṃ vapuḥ |
mahāmaraṇamapyasyā rākṣasyāḥ susukhaṃ sthitam || 20 ||

How be it, the Rakshasi soon learnt to be content with her needleship, after she had relinquished her gigantic form; although she viewed her transformation as worse, than her dissolution itself.
