The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भुशुण्डीशक्तिकुन्तासिशूलपाषाणसंकुलम् ।
शूलशस्त्राहतिच्छन्नकबन्धपतनान्वितम् ॥ २२ ॥

bhuśuṇḍīśaktikuntāsiśūlapāṣāṇasaṃkulam |
śūlaśastrāhaticchannakabandhapatanānvitam || 22 ||

The land was strewn with crowbars, lances and spears, and with tridents and stones on all sides; and headless bodies were falling hideously, pierced by poles and pikes and other instruments of death.
