The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्वकाकयक्षवेतालतालकोलाहलोल्बणम् ।
गमागमेन भूतानां समुड्डीनवनोपमम् ॥ १४ ॥

śvakākayakṣavetālatālakolāhalolbaṇam |
gamāgamena bhūtānāṃ samuḍḍīnavanopamam || 14 ||

There arose a mingled cry of dogs and crows, of Yakshas and Vetalas, with the clapping of their hands; and bodies of ghosts were moving about as woods and forests.
