The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रक्तमांसवसामेदोहरणव्यग्रडाकिनि ।
चर्वितासृग्वसामांसस्रवत्सृक्किपिशाचकम् ॥ १५ ॥

raktamāṃsavasāmedoharaṇavyagraḍākini |
carvitāsṛgvasāmāṃsasravatsṛkkipiśācakam || 15 ||

The Dakinis (Dayinis) were eager to steal away the flesh and fat from the piles, and the Pisachas delighted in sucking the blood and the flesh and bones of the dead.
