The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्वीपात्तु द्विगुणं मानं लवणार्णवलेखया ।
दधत्या वलितां बाह्ये प्रकोष्ठमिव कम्बुना ॥ १४ ॥

dvīpāttu dviguṇaṃ mānaṃ lavaṇārṇavalekhayā |
dadhatyā valitāṃ bāhye prakoṣṭhamiva kambunā || 14 ||

The briny ocean which is twice as large as the continent, girds it on the outside, as a bracelet encircles the wrist.
