The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.25.15

ततोऽपि द्विगुणं देहं दधत्या वलयाकृतिम् ।
जगद्भूतलताव्याप्तां शाकाख्यद्वीपलेखया ॥ १५ ॥

tato'pi dviguṇaṃ dehaṃ dadhatyā valayākṛtim |
jagadbhūtalatāvyāptāṃ śākākhyadvīpalekhayā || 15 ||

Beyond it lies the Saka continent of a circular form, and twice as large as the former one, which is also encircled by the sea.
