The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.9.20; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

पशुर्, यथा —
पश्याद्भुतास् तुङ्ग-मदः कुरङ्गीः
पतङ्ग-कन्या-पुलिने’द्य धन्याः ।
याः केशवाङ्गे तद्-अपाङ्ग-पूताः
सानङ्ग-रङ्गां दृशम् अर्पयन्ति ॥४.९.२०॥

paśur, yathā —
paśyādbhutās tuṅga-madaḥ kuraṅgīḥ
pataṅga-kanyā-puline’dya dhanyāḥ |
yāḥ keśavāṅge tad-apāṅga-pūtāḥ
sānaṅga-raṅgāṃ dṛśam arpayanti
||4.9.20||

English translation

Animals:
“O friend! See these fortunate deer, experiencing extraordinary bliss on the bank of the Yamunā. Today, purified by Kṛṣṇa’s sideways glance, they are casting playful glances of conjugal love at His limbs.”
